Nigeria’s Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission ranked second among 518 federal institutions in the latest transparency assessment by the Centre for Fiscal Transparency and Public Integrity.

Why it matters

The ranking gives the anti-corruption agency a stronger public benchmark for its own work. It also puts transparency on a comparative footing: the ICPC is not simply being praised in isolation, but placed near the top of a nationwide field.
