Police in Bali are investigating after Australian man Damien John Shaw, 56, and his two children, a six-year-old boy and four-year-old girl, were found dead at their bungalow in Kuta on Sunday. BBC News
Shaw’s wife, who was not in Bali, became concerned after hearing one child crying during a phone call with her husband and then losing contact. A neighbour and other residents forced entry after receiving no response and found the three bodies.
Australian media reported that police were treating the deaths as a suspected murder-suicide, but police told the BBC that the cause and manner of death remain undetermined. Further examinations are planned. Shaw was originally from Fremantle, Western Australia.
