Amazon will release all eight episodes of its new Barbershop television series on Prime Video on February 10, 2027.
Jermaine Fowler stars as Travis “Trav” Walker, who returns to Chicago to honor his grandfather’s legacy at Calvin’s barbershop. The story follows Trav as he adjusts to a new group of barbers, longtime customers and a changing city.
The cast includes Brett Gray, Punkie Johnson, Roy Wood Jr., E.J. Bonilla, Bresha Webb, Bokeem Woodbine, Tiana Okoye and Langston Kerman. Guest stars include Zack Fox, Ego Nwodim, Ziwe, Tituss Burgess and Devon Walker.
Marshall Todd and Max Searle serve as showrunners. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, with executive producers including Kevin Hart and Hartbeat, Bradley Gardner, George L. Tillman, Robert Teitel, Fowler and director Oz Rodriguez.
The series continues a franchise whose three main films have grossed nearly $200 million worldwide. It is also the second television adaptation after a Showtime sitcom that ran for one season.
