Bryan Fogel’s ‘The Row’ to Premiere at Telluride Film Festival

Based on reporting by Deadline, Bryan Fogel’s documentary The Row is set to make its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival, chronicling Tez Steinberg’s attempted solo row from California to Hawaii.

Fogel, the Oscar-winning director of Icarus, follows Steinberg on the approximately 1,700-mile journey. Deadline’s September 4 report also shared an exclusive first-look clip from the film.

Steinberg arrived at the challenge with a substantial endurance-sports background: Deadline reports he has run about 45 marathons, completed a 145-mile non-stop ultramarathon and competed in Ironman events. The report does not say whether he completed the rowing attempt, nor does it provide distribution, release-date or wider-availability details for The Row.
