Candid Broads Productions, the London-based female-led company founded by Oriane Pick in 2020, is moving from short films toward feature-length filmmaking and considering television series while continuing to produce shorts, according to reporting by The Hollywood Reporter.
Pick serves as CEO and founder, alongside producer Anaïs Ferrato. Candid Broads says it aims to bring stories from underrepresented communities forward and promote female representation both in front of and behind the camera. Pick and Ferrato told THR that the company is female-centric but not limited to stories about women, and that it wants to champion emerging filmmakers.
