Jack’d is launching the inaugural Jack’d Film Festival, an app-based showcase and competition for original films by queer creators, with a focus on stories and perspectives from queer people of color.
TS Madison, Miss Lawrence, Bobby Ashley, Mike Gauyo and Dyllón Burnside will serve as festival judges. The grand jury winner and the audience choice winner will each receive $10,000.
Filmmakers must submit entries online by 5 p.m. PT on Oct. 21, 2026. Selected short and full-length films will stream exclusively through the Jack’d app from Nov. 2 through Dec. 3, with members voting in-app for the Audience Choice Award.
Joining Jack’d and participating in the festival is free. The company says its platform serves more than 15 million people across 2,000 cities in more than 180 countries.
