Shai Hope’s Unbeaten 102 Leads West Indies to Record T20 Chase

What changed

Shai Hope’s unbeaten 102 powered West Indies to their highest successful chase in T20 internationals. They reached a target of 250 to beat India by six wickets in Ranchi, levelling the five-match series at 1-1.

Why it matters

This was more than a close chase. West Indies cleared a huge target and set a new national benchmark for successful T20 international run chases, with Hope carrying the innings through to the finish.

India’s 250 was not enough. West Indies now have the momentum of a record result, while the series is reset with both sides level and three matches still to play.
