What changed

Igor Dobrianskyi built MyMonthlyCar to help dealerships turn idle vehicles into rental revenue. The platform is aimed at people who need a car for a few months, connecting them with vehicles that might otherwise sit on dealership lots and lose value.

Why it matters

The idea targets a clear mismatch: dealerships have cars tying up money while temporary users face high costs and limited choice. If MyMonthlyCar works, the same inventory could serve two purposes before a conventional sale, giving dealers another way to earn from vehicles that are depreciating in place.

That is the proposition, not yet a proven business result. The reporting does not establish the platform’s launch scale, participating dealerships, pricing, insurance arrangements, utilisation or financial performance. The important test is whether MyMonthlyCar can make short-term rentals workable for dealers without turning a simple idle-car problem into a complicated operational one.
