Natura’s $99 smart ring puts AI agents on your finger

TechCrunch

What changed

Natura has introduced the $99 Interface smart ring, a health tracker that lets users summon AI agents with a press of a finger.

Those agents are described as handling tasks, capturing thoughts and controlling devices. The ring’s central pitch is simple: AI access moves from a screen or voice command to a small physical gesture.

Why it matters

This is less about making a smaller wearable than changing where the interface lives. A finger press could become a shortcut for asking an agent to do something, save an idea or control another device, while the same object tracks health.

That combination makes the ring interesting for builders and technology buyers because it tests whether AI agents need a visible screen at all. The $99 price also puts the experiment closer to an impulse purchase than a major hardware commitment.

The practical question is reliability. If the agents complete tasks smoothly, the ring could make ambient, hands-free computing feel less abstract. If the gesture is inconsistent or the agents need frequent correction, it risks becoming another gadget whose cleverest feature is its launch description.
