Pine AI has launched Pine Computer, a cloud platform that lets developers use an SDK to give AI agents on-demand access to web browsers, files and business software. The product is in private developer testing; Pine AI says internal tests found it 2x to 5x faster than traditional solutions, while it scored 78.3% on SaaS-Bench but completed only 27.4% of tasks.
Why it matters
Pine Computer is aimed at the awkward part of agent work: getting software to do things across the tools people already use. If the speed claim holds outside Pine AI’s own testing, faster execution could make browser and business-software agents less frustrating to run.
The benchmark result is the more sobering signal. A 78.3% score sounds strong, but a 27.4% full-task completion rate means many workflows still fail before the job is actually done. For developers, that makes reliability more important than the launch’s headline speed.
The product remains private, with no pricing or public availability timing reported. Its next meaningful test will be whether outside developers can reproduce the speed while pushing full tasks, not just benchmark steps, to completion.
